Hi ..

Can anyone tell if they know anyone that can come out and have a look at my boiler ,,every time we want hot water i have to use the key on the boiler to bring the pressure up ,,then after a while it just drops again ..

Was working fine until we had radiators moved ,and had a new bathroom suite fitted ..

If there are no leaks on your radiator valves and it’s a pressurised system, it is likely the expansion vessel has gone.

Does anyone know who can take a look at it for me .

We have been looking at this boiler and it's really weird. The expansion vessel is holding a 1 bar pressure, there are no substantial leaks although we are investigating a possible weep on a capped pipe but no actual water can be seen. All air has been vented from the radiators and the system will fill and hold a 1.5 bar pressure for an hour or so then suddenly for no apparent reason if will drop to zero.
Any advice would be great.

Hello. Whoever moved your radiators can you not call them out and explain the problem, since it only occurred after their work was done.

FIXED.

Faulty 15mm brass cap end underneath a kitchen unit it had a split around the thread and was weeping into the wall.
