The price is normally agreed beforehand and if accepted they'll collect the vehicle and pay you what was agreed.
They take care of all documentation issuing a disposal notice, which you can use to cancel insurance. SUMA & DGT are also notified.

My car was 21 years old and very reliable, they drove it onto the truck.
I take it you are concerned about your cars emissions.
Have you tried getting the sticker?

Yes just because of its age. I have aYellow B sticker on my car. So how do they work out the price without seeing the car.

I described it, they asked me how much I was looking for it. I told them, which they turned down. So I asked them what was their best price and accepted it.
