Can anyone recommend a mobile Car Valeter?

If you have had good service and would like to recommend a reputable Company or a Tradesman or woman, please do so here.

Toffeepple, it wasn’t a criticism, more a questioning comment about what you are offering. The list of tasks involved seems vast for a charge of only €25 including pick up and delivery. And your post says you ‘valet the cars at home’ THEN ‘take them to the car wash to finish them off’!

In order to polish the car, I would have assumed that washing the car would be the first task, not the last?

Sorry but NOBODY can valet a car for €25, clean yes, valet no!

BTW toffeapple, are you a legally registered business as if so 21% of your price is IVA so really you're doing it for €20.

Toffeeapple, you’ve clearly taken umbrage to my comments but I was only questioning what you are offering being described as ‘valeting’.

I don’t profess to be an expert but you simply cannot valet a car properly using the method (finish off at a car wash) and at the price you are charging.

It takes three hours or more to valet a car properly and whilst you are obviously not using proprietary brand consumables, even the cheap stuff costs something. Deduct the costs of car shampoo, upholstery shampoo, trim / dashboard cleaners, glass cleaner, alloy wheel cleaner, tyre shine, time for car collection - drop off etc; you’d be lucky to be earning €3 an hour!

As I said before, it’s not a criticism, but you simply cannot be spending 3-4 hours doing all the above (and in your case paying for a commercial car wash at the end) for €25.

I’m sure you do a decent job of ‘cleaning’ cars but that’s not valeting.

Why not try Toffeeapple's service, and see how it compares to others?

Not for me thanks, previous comments aside, I won’t be handing my car over to some random on a forum who takes it away to be cleaned.

Don't doubt what some people will work for per hour, that is there choice,
If it fills there day with something they enjoy ,
Leave them be,
Look around at the fields out in the campo, fruit n veg pickers getting less than €25 a day, for a full day's work,
But people are quite happy to buy the products they pick for poor wages.
