Does anyone know anybody that repairs vacuum cleaners ... specifically our dear old 'henry'

when you switch it on, it doesn't work, so may be the switch or motor, that's my best guess

Henry will have to go in the bin Iam afraid bless his departure, move on and buy a Henry MK2.

Oh no .... can't bear to see him go, hes been part of the family, the plug is a Spanish one that we put on when he came with us from the UK

All parts for Henry Numatic vac cleaners are available online. Although it could be a simple loose wire in the plug or the cable. I'd get an electrician to do a few simple checks before throwing it away. Even broken ones have a value here in the UK.

Someone was looking for replacement motor brushes for a Henry recently and they managed to get them from Euronics at El Galan (near Villamartin/ Blue Lagoon). Not sure if the Euronics in Quesada hold Henry spares and/or do repairs, but might be worth a try.

If you are handy check the cable at the recoil end sometimes the recoil connector where's out join the cables with out the recoil try that
