Kitchen Lacquering

Hola!

I see many adverts for 'lacquering'. Has anyone had any personal experience of this. I'm thinking of getting our kitchen cupboard doors done. The previous owner painted them, and some of the paint is peeling off. I'm wondering if lacquering would be an economical way to buy us a bit of time before having to fits a new kitchen.

Any recommendations or idea of prices would be very welcome.

We have a 2 bed Fortuna style townhouse.
