Recommendations for awning suppliers

Postby glosman » Tue Mar 10, 2015 1:29 pm

Hi can anyone recommend a good awning supplier locally - have seen all the adverts for Todos Guardamar & similar local suppliers but as there seem to be so many would really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance

We had quite a large space to enclose, a bit bigger than a straight Awning and we use Toldos Costa Blanca.Excellent, custom made and a very good price. English Guy. Has a stall on Zocco Market Sunday.
Our Simple Awing at the front was by Sireena, think thats the way you spell it, again good value and service. Zocco Market, top left hand side of the market.
Hope it helps

Hi Trevor,

It is much nicer if you can give your recommendation on the forum rather than a PM, as it then helps everyone.

Hi all, when choosing an awning do not go purely on price as there are some very cheap rubbish out there especially from some of the bricolages. Always speak with a reputable company who specialize in the manufacture and fitting of the awnings, whether they are invisible arms, flat awnings etc. and see how much guarantee they offer; has the fabric passed the sun Ultraviolet portectin 50+ test and is it designed for the job.

Please feel free to contact me for further help or advice on this subject.

Trevor.

Hi,on the subject of awnings does anybody know of anyone or is it even possible to leave the winding/folding mechanism in place and just replace the fabric on an awning/blind.
Thank you
