Terrace tiling

Hi all, its been a while but hope you are all well. We are in the process of getting work done on our property before we move out full time, and would appreciate some recommendations for good tilers as we want to re-tile our roof and bedroom terraces. As we are only out in Spain every few months for limited time, we could do with hearing from people who have had similar work done and are very happy with the outcome. We would also welcome any negative comments relating to bad workmanship so we can avoid the Cowboys who we know are everywhere . Thanks.

Just (2 weeks ago) had our solarium retiled by the guys at Don Aluminio. Very happy with the final result and found the price very competitive. Would highly recommend

Hi Sie H, thanks for response, a few people have mentioned Don Aluminio. We will probably get a quote from them amongst others. When you said you found the price very competitive, I take it you also got quotes from others. Were they from recommended builders or did you source them yourself ?

We had the terrace and patio areas to 4 side of our villa and the roof terrace & pool surround tiled by Antonio at Davinia Constructiones. His work was top quality everywhere. His workmen were tidy and helpful. Our neighbours were so impressed they used him to do the same on their villa and used the same tiles. I learnt a lot watching them. The important work is under the tiles with concrete and re-enforcing steel rods and meticulously getting the drainage levels right. If you would like to see his finished work tell him Alan recommended him and he will show you his work for on my villa. Hi, would you mind sharing the price per metre that they charged. We contacted them for a quote but they said our terrace area was too small to make it worthwhile for their guys.
