Warning Big Shopping

Postby cerveza » Thu Aug 08, 2019 6:15 am

consider the following as a warning: bought an electric timer and after plugging it in and out it broke down in my hand. Brought it back and they could not understand how come…, we’ll me neither
Anyway, changed it,for the most expensive one they are selling.

3 months later, I unplugged the new one to put another machine in to it and once again…, had 4 parts in my hands so went back with my ticket and ask to give back my money under guarantee.

And then the trouble started. It was not possible, it was my fault, allllllll the other people did not have any problems and they had to call the fabric to ask if they could pay it back ( hello Hongkong …)

The answer I got was : the fabric told us NO guarantee but the boss lets you take another one BUT only for once…
Guarantee is guarantee, Spain is Europe and 2 years is the law so…pffff

Anyway I did not want another one as they are rubbish so then I had problems to get my money or a voucher back
On the end , I got my voucher but was warned again (like a school kid ) , only for once!!!!

Think about this little story whenever you are planning to buy any electricity over there…!

I mailed Leroy Merlin to ask about their policy and timers do come under electricity so two years guarantee without moaning. The difference between cheap and normal price
I learned my lesson: no more electricity in any China shop

I would never buy anything electrical from a Chinese shop.. They are okay for some things, plastic bowls, spatulas, string, pots, vases, ornaments...

But I would not buy anything electrical there...

You are right to doubt the quality of electrical items found in Chinese Supermarkets but, not because the items are Chinese, after all, the more expensive items in Leroy are most probably made in China as are iPhones etc., it’s because they are made to a price point and that, sadly, affects the quality.
