Wood heater installer

hi
We need a reliable tradesman to install a wood heater and associated flue.
We have had three visits resulting in only one quote as the other two couldnt be bothered to get back to us
We need to get comparative quotes and its annoying that tradesmen looking for work cant be bothered to provide written qoutes in a reasonable period
The only one who did provide a price (very high) was Aki at Habaneras
Any recommendations please?

Hi,

I am afraid I cannot recommend anyone but I had a quote recently of 900 euros for fit only. This may give you a comparison.

They did ours, quickly, cleanly and no problems...

You could get a local do it yourself guy to do it suppose, but it is an important thing to have done, and you really don`t want cowboys doing it and installing it incorrectly...

Ambifuego do not do fit only. They won't entertain you unless you buy a fire from them.
