Take what your solicitor advises as all areas requiter different things! ( Bizarre I know but true!) then you will not go wrong don't listen to the people who do not know take professional advice if you have a retainer with a solicitor it will cost you peanuts and be correct do NOT use cheapskates with whom will cost you money in the end! So much bull is on the internet about what you need just speak to the professionals and get it right!

Given that many of us are seeking to register in the next 3 months and that, while we all know the basic requirements, but, hey, there might be the odd wrinkle depending on the opinion of the officials on the day I would genuinely ask if we can all share experience of this. Good, bad or indifferent. I think it would be a great help.

The term barrack-room lawyer is a definition as below!
A person who likes to give authoritative-sounding opinions on subjects in which they are not qualified, especially legal matters.
Don't listen to people whom do not know the facts! Take specialist advice or pay the consequences
I would also add that appointments for residency are limited due to demand at the moment so please take the appropriate advice if you are thinking of jumping ship at the last moment LOL.
Good luck to all.
