Medical insurance

Can anyone recommend a medical insurance company to go with for getting the residencia? Also, by getting residencia does that mean you're no longer entitled to nhs?

There are several medical companies that do private care. Best to check with different ones as the costs vary quite a lot. Sanitas and BUPA international seem to get good reports.
When you leave UK for more than 3 months you will be deregistered with the NHS, Do not worry about this as the rules have changed and you will be entitled to NHS care in UK during short and long visits.
Virtually all the sites you may read on this are out of date as the UK government changed the rules just 18 months ago and then changed them again from April last year.

So if we get residencia before three months of being our of the uk, do we still have access to nhs or does it end one we start applying for residencia?
