TIE Card collection

TIE Card collection

Postby Littlegolfer » Sun Nov 15, 2020 5:29 pm

I engaged an agent to obtain TIE and have been told card ready for collection. Unfortunately the agent is unable to take me to Alicante to uplift card
Is it an easy office to find and is there an optimum time of day when waiting time is short. TIA

From previous posts, you collect the cards from the foreigners' office at Calle Campo de Mirra 6 which is close to the original place you go to for the cards. There is, they say, a big car park just up from there but don't go on a Thursday as that is market day and the carpark is part of the market.

Marcliff, it's not that close, probably 10 to 15 minutes drive from the original application office. It is near the Rico Perez stadium (Alicante/ Hercules CF) The big car park is the stadium car park, when we went to collect our TIE's the footballers were parking there as they went for training.

Dave.

From a previous post: Calle Campo de Mirra 6 Alicante, it's near the Rico Perez Stadium (Hercules CF) & if you park in the large car park, walk down to the bottom exit of the car park & the building is just on the right of the exit

Remember to take your old Residencia and passport along with your documents which shows your TIE number.
As per info. From other members try to avoid Thursday’s as it’s market day.

don’t join the queue, just show your paperwork with your TIE number on to the policeman and he waves you straight through. Lots of people milling around, goodness knows why.
Cheers

Chrisdee, are you planning to drive? I’m a bit nervous about driving in the city, so thought I would go with Rosatours on a day trip

Went today to pick up mine and my wifes cards. You cant just go to the front, as the lady in front of me discovered. She tried and was told to go to wait in the queue.
Hello to her by the way. She posts on here.

My wife was in a wheelchair and the officer controlling the queue spotted us and took us straight to the front of the queue. Really appreciated that.
Very simple procedure. Just hand over passport, residecia, and tie form. Check fingerprints and done!
