TIE exchange from green residency card

After been trying at all hours since end of October to get an appointment, have suceeded at last...its middle of April in Alicante!

Well done, there is some hope for me then. Could I ask, what time of day did you get it please?

If you'd have gone to Rightmove Insurance Services it would have been in your hand by now. When they did ours, last year, it only cost 75€. That includes two journeys, in their vehicle, to Alicante!

Hi had been trying for 6 months but we have been legal residents since 2005 when we had the old plastic card with fingerprints as they used to be....so we werent under presdure to change our current green plastic residencias being permanent! Just thought we would get TIE ....all times of day & night trying....its so hard to get appointments atm

Do you know what the time and what day it was when you managed to find an appointment?

Been trying like mad....its so boring!

Since we've been here for over 19 years we've always done our NIE's, residencia and all other legal stuff ourselves but we found that changing our old residencias to TIE was such a struggle that for the first time we used someone. This was the Rightmove staff in Quesada. For the sake of 75€ each they did it all with a friendly face and transport both times to Alicante, we couldn't fault them.
Sometimes in life it's less stress to let someone else do it for a small fee( unlike gestors who charge anywhere upward of 200€).

Will second Rightmove. Did ours worth every euro for having everything done for us speedily and hassle free.
