A Warning people, my wife and i were walking home from the bars along by the golf course towards Rojales about 12.30 am last night.suddenley my wife felt a heavy nudge in her back and we both turned and there was this young foreign looking scumbag pulling at her bag.he did get it snapping the strap, and off he went, meanwhile a car passed us and started to turn around.there was 3 men on the other side of the road and on hearing my wifes yell had the good sense to take the number which after seeing we were ok passed on to me.luckily most of my wife,s private stuff ,money, credit card s were in the house and she was wearing her glasses so we think he only got about 20 euro a pair of womens sunglasses and a lipstick holder,i went to the police station this morning and it was difficult getting them to understand but they checked the car number but it was not on the system so falsies no doubt. and really did not want to know.Anyway the car the men think was a BMW possibly bronze or gold colour and the registration was BWZ 2311 so our thanks to those men and be on your guard people.

Thanks for sharing - so sorry that you've been a victim of crime......
It would appear these opportunists are on the increase as there was a lady who had her purse stolen inside Mercadona the other day too....... Be careful everyone

We realised a long time ago that a lot of old British Reg Cars were being driven by dubious looking characters. They can probably pick them up cheap somewhere & can't be traced when used in a felony.

A little bit different but we have just had a young girl randomly come to our gate and when the dogs went out barking she asked if our house is for rent. I thought it was a bit strange then realised that our front door was open and she had rattled the gate which alerted the dogs .she was about mid twenties Spanish speaking. We live near the Recorall park

Are you certain you have the letters/numbers the right way round?? If it is 2311 BWZ then it may be a Spanish plate.
