Sue&John what company did you contract and are you happy with them?
Another thing I am going to install is a good safety box.
I have heard a lot of people saying they are waiting for people to move in to crash in just when they don't expect to happen.

I would be very grateful for any information and experience with security companies.

I recommend SmarTech Solutions in Benijofar.

Try these, a professional company using camera systems plus they call the police for you....

Not so sure on how effective alarms actually are here as you can't have the alarm box outside the house. It has to be inside and not sure many people would hear it unless you had permanent neighbours next door. We also had a car alarm go off and, with the way communities are built here, we found it very difficult to find out where it was coming from due to the echoing effect.
Yes, the alarm companies will alert the police but pretty sure these nasty so and so's are quite quick.

Hi Marcliffe,
...the lights might be broken by an air gun ...look around for pellets....you might be able to work out the angle it came from... I use lights, they only come on when there's movement...
