Locksmith required

Does anyone know of a good and trustworthy Locksmith please as sadly our villa was robbed yesterday whilst my poor parents were staying there. We have been advised to get all of the locks changed even though they got in by cutting through a window grill and bending it and then forcing the window. This was in broad daylight!!

So sorry to hear this Alison. I know of one company called Hackett Locksmiths . They have a website http://www.hackettlocksmith.com/ with all their details on. They have been going a long time, even though I haven't used them personally. Might be worth a call for a quote. You can also email them. The email address is under 'contact us ' on the website.
I hope your parents are OK.
Jan.

Thank you for your kind wishes re our recent robbery. It is very upsetting especially as we are moving there full time from September. My parents are ok but a bit shaken & it's made them very nervous. Thank you also for the locksmith details we will give them a call.

Sorry to hear about your break in, It may be worth thinking about an alarm system.
Our neighbors got robbed, and it started me thinking about alarms.
Professional monitored systems are the best , but have quite an expensive monthly fee.
I opted for a system that connects to the phone line, so in the event of an alarm it will auto dial my mobile to alert me ( but can be programmed to phone any number you wish )
So there are no monthly costs as I self monitor it
Any way hope your parents feel better soon and put the experience behind them !
Best Regards
Tony

Hi Dot,
My alarm, is easy to turn on and off via remote controls, which also has a panic button .
The main control panel has to be plugged into the mains and to a phone line, if the house power is cut it will still work at there is an inbuilt back up battery.
no wiring to the sensors is required as they are all wireless , also there is a totally wireless external siren / strobe which is solar powered ( and will sound if some one tries to remove it )
If you forget to turn on the alarm , just dial your home number and enter your pin and then you can arm / diss arm or listen in to your house )
I am very pleased with the system, and now added it to my website
Best Regards

Hi Tony,
Do you know what the alarm system that you are so pleased with is called?
I can then take a look on the internet. At the moment we have been advised to buy the Yale HSA6400 premium alarm system.
Many Thanks,
Alisunshines

Hi the system one I have imported and installed on my own house for testing .
I am happy with the result and now intend to start importing and selling them, as I think there is a gap in the market for phone connected systems with a solar powered external siren, you can see it on my web site
Yale should be ok, its a well known brand and phone connected , in my opinion that is an important feature
Response also make a phone connected system that supports a solar siren.
Best Regards
