Instancia forms are in the town hall Quesada ---you can report anything and it will be viewed by the mayor and read at the council meeting.

quote="tjtrev"]This morning main street Quesada, I cleaned up about 100 caterpillars took them to the town hall in Quesada,---now the remaining nests have been removed,-- If you want anything doing --do it yourself.[/quote]

Brilliant! You have to be very careful doing that though, for your own safety.

At least it must get the message across to the council!

Hi All,
Please be aware that it is not only animals who can suffer with these caterpillars. Two of my friends were very ill for over a week trying to get rid of these caterpillars, one was nearly sent to hospital. I would suggest that if anybody is going spray the fir trees in their garden make sure you wear a one piece disposable boiler suit (with the hood up) as the hairs from the caterpillars will float in the air will cause spots where ever they touch bare skin. Anti histamine injections will help to counter the poison. These caterpillars will burrow underground shortly & will, hopefully, not be a pest until next year.
I hope that this will of some help to someone,
Dingbat
