I have just copied this from one of the Facebook expat groups:



Hi all just a little reminder folks make a point off checking your credit card receipts before leaving store etc. Over the weekend I went to Quesada Gas put €20 fuel in car, I passed my card over all was ok so I thought. I didn't check screen or receipt. Luckily my next stop was the cashpoint where I found €40 had been taken out. Expecting all kinds of arguments but was surprised when she just handed over a €20 note no explanation, a sheepish grin and the most basic of an apology. Lesson learnt!!!
