Question about the area of Harry's Bar (hope that's ok)

Question about the area of Harry's Bar (hope that's ok)

Postby Upstream » Mon Apr 04, 2022 2:49 pm

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and was hoping that someone may be able to provide some guidance. We're looking to buy a place in Quesada and saw a few places near Harry's Bar (apparently it's got great reviews) anyway... Can anyone tell us what the area around there is like in terms of safety / security etc please? My wife took a walk around the area a couple of weeks ago when she flew over and it seemed ok but she spent only about an hour there so any thoughts, comments would be really helpful.

Many thanks.

We rented in that area , when we first moved over. Safety and security there’s probably no difference as to wherever you decide to live in the area. Apart from Harry’s Bar, you have a few more bars near to the Canales supermarket. Both The Club & Lakeview are within walking distance, so you have a fair number of places to eat and drink. It’s a steady walk down to the Main Street, but a bit of an uphill struggle walking back. There’s no way I’d do that walk in the summer months.
The only thing that I personally don’t like about the area are the apartments at the top of the hill , by the municipal pool as they don’t fit in with the area.

We have a apartment up there and love it. It's no different to anywhere in Quesada for safety it's always been fine. Yes the walk back up in summer can be a little hard with the heat but not a deal breaker. It's lovely up there.
