Robbers around

Robbers around

Just thought that I should write about 2 guys dressed in white overalls driving a white van.
Robbing doors off the electricity or gas boxes. Seen in Lo Crispin Sunday Mid-day. Has been reported to the Police. :x

Hi apparently some people have been stealing water metres around the golf course area because of the metal content so be vigilant as you have to pay to have them replaced, this is not small scale over 1000 have been stolen in the Rojales area! watch out for your neighbours if they are away. ;)

Sorry to be a pain but these people are thieves - not robbers , save that title for those that deserve it.

Our water meter door was stolen at the end of last year. Hidraqua said it was our responsibility and could not help. This is despite the meter being set on an outside wall. There was no offer of replacement or suggestions of where to buy a door. I am just dreading the actual water meter being stolen as I am aware that is the next stage of thieving. We are based in the UK so unable to keep an eye out. Any suggestions how to obtain a door? and then how to secure it so that it isn't stolen again!

Hi I have been informed that if the meter and as well as the door are taken, before doing anything else go to the Guarda and make a report. This report enables you to ask the water company to replace the meter only free of charge, at least thats a little help. Someone that did not do this paid for new meter and new door......

Any suggestions for a replacement door for the water meter as Hidraqua will not replace. Either a non metal door or metal door with. a method of securing making it difficult to steal? It is so frustrating when all you want to do is look after your property.

Get a plastic door made? sure someone can help/where on here, they will never steal that again as no value, just like the gas/electric in the UK.

If there weighing the stuff in the scrap yard must know who they are, and if there robbing this much you have to have a personal number to get paid
