Good thinking! Better than learning from expensive mistakes.

What a fantastically helpful tip! I was thinking about getting white towels and linen but then I thought maybe not - grandson's are not known for cleanliness and I was thinking about towels etc being negligently dropped on bathroom floors and bed linen similarly so when asked to change their sheets. Now I won't even buy them for us. Thank you!

Thanks for that great piece of advice, was just about to replace towels and linen and was going to buy white. Definitely staying away from that colour now

Have you lovely ladies thought it could be something else causing discolouration?

I have only white towels Bedding and bath mats both here and abroad some of which is now 10 years old and never had a problem with discolouration. I don't use any conditions or softeners and only buy from one particular store. I reckon I must have saved a fortune.

Most definitely nothing else but the brown dust causing the discolouration. Doesn't happen in the UK. Strange that you haven't had a problem, as the dust is everywhere in the area inside and out.
