Warning

Warning

Postby Theboundary » Sun Sep 11, 2016 5:08 pm

This afternoon I heard someone attempting to open my back grill. When I went to the door a woman was walking away and when I challenged her she muttered something and walked around to the front of our community and got into a red car and drove off.
The car stopped further down the road so I followed in my car and watched as she tried various gates to houses. She had another woman with her and were totally unconcerned about me watching them.
The car registration number is 7118CKR and its red in colour.
I seem to recall incidents like this have been reported on the forum before involving the same two woman and the police have the car details etc.
Luckily we always keep our doors locked however our back gate was not locked at the time.
I will be purchasing a new lock for that in the morning!

Thank you for the warning. These people just don't care and need to be caught. They are preying on those who don't lock up properly and if these type of posts can stop some people from becoming victims then they are doing some good.

Lock your gates and doors/grilles everyone whereever you are!!

There;s also a guy trying on the "I need 50 euros for a locksmith to get into a relatives house" scam..

Age 50-55 ish and very thin, grey haired and scruffy looking.
He's been seen on the Conjuntas Carmen and Sofia just off Avenida De Naciones at the Lo Pepin end..

He'd used names from the post boxes as being his relatives.

They do though. He has been playing that game for 15 years in different areas. He is very plausible. My Husband called his bluff but others were caught. It was 20 euros in those days.
