Watch Out - Thieves About

Hi everyone

Yesterday (Friday 13th) a friend Dave was shopping at Mercadona, the store which is near the Arches in Quesada. As Dave went to put his trolley away this guy was standing there with a 50 cents in his hand, when Dave went to push the trolley in to retrieve his coin the trolley couldn't get near enough to insert the gadget to remove the coin. As Dave tried to push the trolley a bit closer the thief grabbed hold of the front of it, Dave assumed he was trying to help. After a bit of pushing & shoving Dave happened to look down & saw the guy's foot was wedged under the wheel to stop the trolley moving forward, Dave pushed his foot away & pushed the guy away so he could finish putting the trolley away. Dave walked back to his car, after he got in he realised his wallet had gone, it was obvious it was a set up & there must have been 2 of them as the first guy could not have reached Dave's pocket from where he was standing. Dave has now bought a chain for 75 cents from the Chinese shop to secure his wallet in future.

Iv had a con man pretending to be a gas man wanted €80 for a 5 year warranty asked me for my passport .... told him to get lost

Puting a chain on it makes it easier to grab , unless you put it on a strong belt because if it is just on a belt loop it can easily be ripped off. Normal wallets are not normally strong enough to withstand a heavy pull , if you can buy a proper truckers wallet from a truck stop , a lot more substancial , of course you also buy the optional hairy dutch clogs to complete the image ............!!!! :lol:

There isn't - I expect that it was meant to mean 'nearest to the Arches' which is the Benijofar Mercadona.
