There is a Ferreteria called Jaqueline's just after the arches in Quesada high street on the right hand side and there's another one by the Gama Supermarket in Quesada (Edited 2015 - This Ferreteria, near to Gama has now closed).

You may find them a bit cheaper in the larger DIY stores - There is one near to Carrefour on the way to Torrevieja and there's a very large one just outside Los Montesinos.

Hope this helps.

Jan.

You're welcome Nikki&graham.

Both the Ferreteria's seem to understand our Spanglish.
Although the small DIY/Hardware shops can be a little bit more expensive than the bigger ones, the personal service is better. We have walked around for ages in the larger hardware stores, searching for what we need, and it's usually not easy to get a store assistant to help.

Good luck with your moving in.

To update this topic there is now another very good Ferreteria in Lo Marabu ,near Consum, as well. It's called Cadena88

Whilst you're updating it, the one by the Gama in town has closed down.
