Hi just 10 mins ago received a message in Spanish from dgt, saying a traffic fine for 19€ must be paid within the next 24hrs or it will increase incrementally,
There is a link sede-dgt.com which leads to a payment page which does look genuine, no information about the offence, I know speeding generally get a pic of car,
Does anyone know if this is usual or a scam?

No it’s only for Traffico issues. It’s MiDGT and not Midge as you’ve typed. This definitely sounds like a scam, fine notification late Saturday evening and the amount is just weird.

The amount and time makes me suspicious together with no car details of place and time of the offence which I’ve found as parking illegally, which we can’t think of anywhere we’ve been to park illegally.
I’ve downloaded the midget app , haven’t a clave so tried inputting personal data but what does permiso mean? It’s a list of initials to chose from?

Well found an article printed 2 weeks ago advising that this is a scam, thank you everyone for your advice ,

Either go to the Police with it or possibly Suma office looks like a scam

You can ring your car insurance & ask them if you have a fine
