How do you get your social security number in Spain?

How do you get your social security number in Spain so I could work and what papers would I need ?. also is it any different to go self employed any suggestions on a business to set up in ? cheers.

Hope you get an answer soon. I would guess it's even harder to start a business in Spain, than it is in the UK, unless you speak Spanish but it may depend on the business.
