IVTM... How do I pay this..?

Hi,
Can anyone advise as to how I can pay IVTM for our car in Spain? We are in the UK at the moment. Can it be paid online? If so - is there a link where you can put the numberplate in and it tells you? We didn't receive a notification so we're unsure as to whether it is due or not, or perhaps overdue. Any help would be appreciated.

What bank are you? I know Sabadell you can pay your taxes online but you may need an code from the bill not sure

We are with Caixa Bank. We didn't receive any notification that it may be due or how much it is so we're sort of working in the dark really. I was hoping that there was a website that we could just put the numberplate in and it'd tell us if it was due and if so how much it is and how much to pay. My concern is that we don't want to inadvertently be contravening any rules and getting into any trouble.

IVTM SUMA

The unique tax reference is your number plate. The IVTM is due from 6th March to 10th May and is payable by the person owning the car on Jan 1st of that year.

Thanks very much. I put the info in and the screen displayed as per the attached image. Can you tell me - Does this mean that I have until the 5th October to pay the next one that's due and if so - Can it simply be done online or does it mean a trip back to Spain? Thanks.

You can only pay online with a login ID and reference number.
It also says it's been paid so, if you have a direct debit with SUMA for any other bill, it will automatically set up the direct debit for your car tax as well.

Have you checked your bank account to see if it was taken back in March to May?
Mine was taken out on 4th May.

Ah.... OK, I must be going mad. I remember now - In may we had some friends in Spain pay it for us. Still - this has prompted me to get a direct debit set up for future payments.
