We did ours straight away at Murcia via a spanish contact, it took less than an hour. I cant remember what we paid but i could find out and let you have her details. She is excellent and speaks fluent english.

We have had the same dilemma, and have also decided to wait till we get there and pay someone to walk us through it, then hopefully collect and sign for property on same day

Hi the price seems to vary a lot we were quoted 150 by a local estate agent who said we would not have to attend as they had a contact in the office!!! we eventually did it through the agent we bought through and paid 45 euros each and it was done in Orihuela and took an hour. most of the people offering the service seem to know what they are doing and it is worth paying the price.
