I know our Spanish Suma bill is really cheap compared to the Council Tax in the UK..... but 45 euros for the year (??) no way !

Council tax UK, over £2000 , Spain Suma just over 200 euros Bargain!

IBI (council tax) is not due until September if it is collected by SUMA. My car tax was due in May/June and was €45 hence the correlation.

This bill for 45 euros definitely looks like the road tax for a car. If you don't have a car, then someone in Spain has one in your name?? If you had one and sold it, then the paperwork was never completed correctly and the car is still in your name. If this car picks up any fines you will be required to pay them. I would check with the SUMA office.

Not at all... but there may have been a mistake!

If you check the post before which says "This bill for 45 euros definitely looks like the road tax for a car. If you don't have a car, then someone in Spain has one in your name?? It is definitely worth checking with the Suma office, as you don't have a car.
