SUMA Bill?

SUMA Bill?

Postby Sylwina » Wed Apr 11, 2018 4:43 pm

I see my bank account has been debited by €78.36. No explanation on the bank slip other than Rojales Ayuntamiento. Having seen posts on here about Basura decoupling from water bill I'm wondering if it is for that. Will pop into SUMA office when I'm there in a few days time but in the meantime wondering anyone has had similar deductions.

There are about 3 different threads on this.
It's your annual rubbish collection bill and your water bill will have been reduced by about 19 euro a quarter

Thanks Marcliff. I assumed that's what it is. Just wasn't sure as there is a mix of experiences on the thread - different months and amounts, annual and biannual payments etc. However I see one poster has been billed for the exact same amount so that pretty much confirms it. I was just a tad concerned that they had billed me for something in connection with my recent car registration when everything had already been paid.

If you apply for a Clave permanente, that is a form of electronic identification, you will be able to enter the virtual office of all the government organisations and see all the information they hold about you.

The organizations include SUMA, Agencia Tributaria (Tax) and Trafico as well as some others.

The information you can see online are all your invoices, payments, tax returns, fines, outstanding bills, direct debit details etc. going back several years.

It is very easy to obtain a CLAVE, visit this web page

http://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/en/regis ... rarme.html

Read the information in English and fillin your details online. You willthen get a confirmation letter through the post with your initial details. Log back in with these details and then choose your username and a secure password.

Then you can unlock the pandoras box of government institutions online , at home, at your leisure and view and print your documents. You only need to visit the offices concerned if you need to speak to someone personally.

Thank you for your helpful reply Espanabums. I was not aware of the Clave platform. As it happens I went thru the hassle of obtaining a digital id certificate in Feb. Problem is I installed it on my android phone using the app. Big mistake as the certificate failed to download (should have read the app reviews!) Means you have to start the process anew. I won't bother now but will go the Clave route which seems to be superceding digital id and has the advantage of not tying you to any particular device. So thanks again.

We wish to explain to you a change in the system of payment of rubbish collection, which has taken effect from the beginning of this year. Invoices are arriving from SUMA for car tax and also now for an annual charge for the rubbish collection. Previously, this was paid via the water company on a quartely basis. This item has now disappeared from the water company's invoice.
We regret that this change was not notified to you. It should have been included in the envelope containing the invoice and due to an oversight, was not.
May we ask you please notify your community or association members or neighbours of this change as obviously we are receiving many queries from anxious citizens.
Our apologies and grateful thanks for assisting us in this matter.
Yours sincerely

What do we need to do, if anything? Will this payment be taken automatically like the Suma council tax is now? (in my case by direct debit)

It's taken automatically from the same account you have your IBI/car tax etc.
