Tax Payments to be made in Spain 2014

Tax Payments to be made in Spain 2014

Postby Jan » Tue Apr 01, 2014 3:48 pm

I have just received our annual reminder letter from our Fiscal Advisers and always find it invaluable to give us an idea of when these tax payments are due.

As it's a general letter I thought it could be helpful to put a copy on here to show the type of taxes and when they are due, for people who are new to living in Spain. Also there have been some questions from people who are arranging to buy or rent in Spain about what to budget for and the details on this letter may help with answers to that as well.

Hi everyone, I have just stumbled across this wonderful site whilst researching non-resident tax to be paid this year - the help and guidance given that I have seen so far is bountiful and informative, so have eagerly registered :D

My partner and I, with much excitement, invested in a small apartment in Quesada and completed at the end of January 2013. We are hoping to be able to sort out and pay the non-resident tax ourselves this year but am struggling to find the information I need to do this. Have any of you made your own arrangements and be willing to share your experience and guidance with me? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi EnglishRose,

Welcome to TalkQuesada. Hope you enjoy the forum and find lots of help on here.

We use a Fiscal representative to do our non-resident taxes but hopefully someone on the forum may be able to give you advice on how to go about doing it yourself.

Congratulations on your new property.

Jan.

Hi Guapa,

Thanks for your response. You've definitely given me food for thought and I will give that serious consideration. I had hoped that, like the Inland Revenue do in the UK, I wold have found a Spanish Government website that would have talked me through it all and it would be fairly straightforward! When home from work later I'll have a look at your link.
