Average price taxi from Alicante airport to Quesada 5 people

Can anybody tell me what the average price for return journey from Alicante airport to Quesada for 5 people, I have been quoted 155 euors by Costa Blanca Transfers.

Ive just enquired this morning to 2 taxi companys and both said no 5 seaters but will do 2 cars at €45 each . Got to be a cheaper way than this .

You could hire a car for a week for around Euro 200, got to be a better deal than taxis or minibus.

Pre-booking an Alicante airport taxi for 5-7 people is €65 one way. 629666028.

They have mercedes vans, always on time and i think around 55€-60€ one way
Pre book for child seats if required and book via telephone or email.

€55 with the above airport runs r us , extra €10 if between 10pm and 5am , this is the best price ive seen so far for 5 people.

That's a good price Mike! I have added 'Airport runs r us' and 'Alicante Airport Taxi' details, to our registered taxi list on the Home page. It's good to have a decent mini-bus service for when there's more than four passengers.

please beware!!most "licenced" taxis in Spain are for four peiple only.The airport run "company's" are mainly unlicenced,therefore,uninsured for paying passengers.The big hoo haw in Spain comes from the licenced taxi drivers,who pay handsomely for their licence against those who pay nothing.i.e.have an accident and someone is injured,see who pays out!Make sure there is an SP sticker on the motor.good luck.

We are doing our best to compile a list of registered / licensed taxis for this very reason.

Can anyone confirm for us that the 'Airport runs r us' and 'Alicante Airport Taxi' companies mentioned in this topic are licensed taxi companies?

I can't imagine that there wouldn't be any registered / licensed taxis, in Spain, that carry more than four passengers.

As far as I am aware,the ones that are at the taxi rank at the airport ARE the only registered ones( to carry more than four people)
