Bellissimo restaurant. Near La Marquesa.

Id just like to give this place a huge vote of support. I have been there several times over the years since they opened and never been disappointed, but yesterday they surpassed themselves. My parents live here full time and my husband andi do not. Just before we left in November I booked to hold my moms 80th birthday lunch there. Now trying to find somewhere open for lunch on 2nd January is notoriously difficult, but when making the booking we all agreed it was a Monday which Bellissimo counted as one of there regular new year opening days. So booked lunch, invited guest arranged decorations and somewhere in between Christmas and New year I realised the 2nd was a Tuesday when I knew they planned to be closed. I thought maybe they had changed there minds, but no, instead they welcomed us with open areas our party of 11 reduced to 7 by I’ll es, but still nothing was too much trouble, they decorated the table, made a fuss of my mom, served us delicious food with grace and smiles and made the best day for my mom. They opened especially for us, because they didn’t want to let us down. No fuss no discussion, just wasn’t an option to turn us away. I loved this place before but I really can’t praise them enough today. Thank you so much Bellissimo.
