Yes I agree would go into town and other places a lot more if we had a regular bus service that stopped all around quesada and surrounding areas

There have been buses in & around Quesada over the years but they don't last long as they never get enough people using them.

It's only a couple of years since a bus service was started after residents repeated requests to the Ayuntamiento. It ran all around Quesada, Dona Pepa, central Quesada, La Marquesa etc & on into Rojales. This was a trial & the timings weren't brilliant but it, like others in the past, was pulled due to lack of passengers. It seems no-one, or very few people are interested in a local bus service, sad as it may be.
We lived at La Marquesa for many years until moving to Guardamar & we even had a free, yes free, bus from Rojales to Habaneras shopping centre every Wednesday all day & every Friday evening. We used the bus regularly & were almost always the only people on it, the service lasted one summer & was stopped due to, you've guessed, lack of use.
