With the average price being €50+ pp for eating out on Christmas Day, you know it’s going to be mass produced food, you have to eat all the courses within in a certain time ! The idea is good but just imagine how much food you can buy for €100 ( is there’s 2 of you ) just for one meal in the comfort of your own home ! And you can drink too ! We do a Christmas Day BBQ with a piece of belly pork and roast potatoes ! The only down side is the washing up :)

You can come to mine, another few wont make a difference, I do the whole lot all fresh, got about 14 of us so far. Not sure about starters yet, followed by Turkey from gama, gammon from chop shop, parsnips, roast potatoes, Brussels, carrots, peas, Swede, Yorkshire puds, fresh cranberry sauce lovely thick Oxo/bisto gravy, as much drink as you want (extra for ice!) There will be dessert and that's about it. Dinner served anytime between 4-5 then it'll be getting the buffet ready for later. Washing up, thats what husband's are for!
