Coastal Path

Coastal Path

Postby WishWeWereThere » Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:41 am

Hi has anyone walked the coastal path through our area end to end? Wondering best to do it given will have to park the car at the start, and wanting to avoid doubling back, are there any buses, could we do say five miles from the start and get the bus back, then start the next day from where we finished, and so doing the 16km over a few days?
Thanks for any info

Not sure where you are talking about? Where does you 16km route start and finish.
The coastal walk that seems to be the most popular is between Punta Prima and Dehesa de Campoamor, but that’s not been possible for a while due to the gates being locked at Urb Bellavista. As far as I’m aware access is still blocked, so maybe the detour you’d need to do would add a few extra km onto your walk, but by having to go inland I wouldn’t class it as a coastal walk.

My friend and I walk from Cabo Roig to Torrevieja which is nice. We also do Torrevieja by Masa hotel all the way through La Mata, both lovely strolls.
