Pick your brains - What to do. Where to do it.

Postby Shann666 » Tue Mar 15, 2022 5:53 pm

Hello, newly arrived into the area from sunny Scotland and working away, trying to get settled. Certainly happy to come across this site where there appears an abundance of local knowledge, my lucky day !!

Just wondering what there is to do and where regards some interests of mine, in the areas of Elche, to the coast leading west towards Guardamar, Torrevieja etc, and of course, inland too. Possibly a catchment area of about 30km all around Matola area??

Animal Shelter/Welfare Volunteer opportunities.
Keeping Fit/Delivering Fitness Classes (if there is a requirement), Social Scenes (not too late at night though haha, joking), Clubs to join - happy to consider all that goes on, may even find new interests!
Best/Value for money shopping areas for food, DIY/Gardening, clothes, house, eating&drinking out.

Anything really as I start a new life.

Thank you all in advance

I know the EasyCare horse rescue centre in Rojales is desperate for volunteers.
Lots of clubs for interests - e.g. I run a small art group.
I expect other members will paste up more :)

If you fancy something different with regard to fitness why not give latin line dancing a go - checkout the Facebook page 'Latin & Line' it's a great way to have fun, get fit and meet new people.
