Picnic Spots

Picnic Spots

Postby ajkechadwick » Sun Feb 14, 2021 5:42 am

This latest lock down seems worst than the first and my wife and me are getting a bit stir crazy so we were wondering if there are any good picnic spots we could have a day trip to without breaking the current restrictions. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

If you want to stay local you could go to the Recorral park.

A few picnic areas within 30 mins drive away, in the national parks in the mountains.

Here on the shore of lake La mata, a short walk from car parks, easily accessible from N332. You can observe the flamingos and other water birds on the lake.

The Recorral is good. Also the walk along the river del Segura from Guardamar through Rojales, Formentera etc. El Hondo near Elche.
