Do you know if the Friday night music in Carlos’ bar will return this year.

NO, there may be an occasional special but Carlos has given up the bar generally and his cave has reverted back to his art.

I think it was a combination of shutdowns and disillusionment with authority.

Excuse slight rant, but I have also stopped exhibiting/selling at the monthly caves 'encounters' as the new authority want to put all painters in one small area which is entirely unsuitable for me.
My vision was for there to be paintings everywhere to brighten the area, but painters have been told they can only take a few & not given them space to display them.
They are also not allowed to put prices on them for selling, and they have to do demonstration paintings whist there.
The area painters are assigned is exposed to wind (and I have had many of my works damaged by that), also I work large in oils, so logistically it's nigh on impossible to arrange transport of wet canvases back to my studio whilst the organisers won't give us somewhere to temporarily store them while they dry.

A shame. Rules often seem to overrule common sense these days.
