We recently had the pleasure to stay at this lovely country hotel.
90 minutes from ciudad quesada set in the top north east of murcia situated on a plain surrounded by mountains & vines.

It's traditional spanish & the owners have a wealth of local knowledge & adela can speak good english.
It's ideal for cycling if your looking for a change of scenery, would also be great for artists & photographers for the local scenery or wildlife.
The local town Yecla is approx 6 kilometres which is totally spanish & you can stock up on the local award winning wines from the bodegas & trying local foods.

I suppose it depends how pedantic people want to be over the word hotel, as hotel can mean a lot of things to many people each having their own thoughts on what a hotel is, the owner has called it casa rural & it is a group of old spanish houses which the spanish owner has tastefully renovated & split it into rooms with facilities, toilets etc..Doing a search in google for hotels in yecla brings up this place.

There is no restaurant on site so you either eat out or you can buy food from the local town which has consum, mercadona & aldi & you can prepare or cook the food yourself onsite.

I would just like to say it is spanish owned & near to a spanish town so is very spanish, there are outside areas you can cook on & there is a swimming pool.

Im not saying it's the ritz & it won't be to everyones taste if your wishing to be wined & dined or after being waited on but we were looking for something as a break from from the norm & it certainly delivered.
