Recommendations for a Thai restaurant please. I’m already aware of the one by the golf course in Rojales. Many thanks

We have just discovered Tuk Tuk Street Food in Guadamar, fantastic, authentic Thai food. It is literally street food, more like a roadside cafe with plastic plates and cutlery, plastic glasses etc; but the food is excellent. Turning into Guadamar from the N332 roundabout, it’s on the left all the way down towards the end of the Main Street.
They also run a street food truck somewhere near the beach but not tried that yet.
The owner does all the cooking herself and she’s happy to cook you things that are not on the menu. I think it’s a little pricey (Tom Yum Soup with prawns €9.50) considering you’re eating and drinking from plastic plates etc; but the food is so good we now go at least once a week.
There is also a Thai restaurant on the right just as you turn off the N332 but we haven’t tried that yet.

Thanks Paul - I’ve heard of them through friends who live there but not tried it yet.

I heard about Tuk Tuk but was told the portions are very small. Is that true? If u get a Pad thai, would it be enough as a meal?

Yes the portions are Thai size (small like the people) . We’ve had the pad Thai but it’s pretty much a side dish. Also it’s the one thing we’ve had there that’s pretty average, the rest of her food is excellent. I think it’s pricey for a basic cafe and portions are not generous but we love the food.

Best Thai restaurant in the area is in Guardamar - it´s located at the other end of the block from the Iberdrola office, opposite the N332:
