Zocco market - bus from Dona Pepa?

Zocco market - bus from Dona Pepa?

Postby ManditaR1971 » Thu Apr 20, 2023 8:06 pm

Hi All - I had read somewhere (cannot remember where) that there is a free bus that goes to Zocco market from Dona pepa. Does anyone know about this, whether it exists, or used to? If it does exist, what was the general experience?

No. There is (or was) a free bus from Cooper's to Rojales market on Thursdays but never one to Zoco market (or any of the others).
The one to Rojales was run by Mercadona but now that's closed I don't know if it's still running. Anyone used it lately?

Ok - thought I’d ask, as this seemed to be something people have told me is still running, but strangely had never seen it (!) - a phantom bus

The bus to the Thursday Rojales market (as per Marcliff’s post) is a frequent topic , but I’ve never heard anyone mention about a bus going to Sunday Zoco market before.

If you walk it it’s a long walk with no shade but there is a path between the main Quesada roundabout and the AP7 roundabout.

If you haven’t got transport and you’re walking , it may be quicker to walk to Lemon Tree Market, especially if you cut through El Raso or cut through the old El Raso entrance opposite the fruit warehouse.

I don't use it myself, but it is still running.
I saw people waiting for it outside the old mercadona on Thursday & then saw the bus later after having picked them up.
