The Sea and Salt Museum - Torrevieja

We often pass the very modern Sea and Salt Museum of Torrevieja when we cycle along the old railway line route into the town.

The museum reflects Torrevieja's customs, arts and popular traditions of when the town was a quaint fisherman's village.

The museum shows how the town was typically associated with the sea and the salt and gives an in-depth description of when it was a fisherman’s village.

There are also interesting examples of the traditional crafts which were hand-crafted from the salt and are supposedly quite unique in the world.
