Can't help you with Spanish supplier but we got a coin operated meter (euros) which has been perfect for our use from a UK company
www.rdlmeters.com 99% sure they will send the unit to Spain.

I have one for sale on facebook. Only been used for one rental and worked very well, then sold the villa! We just used a local electrician to fit it. We´ve got loads of cards for it. You can either include the price of a card in your rental price and then offer more if they over-use it - or offer the option to renters to purchase the cards from the start. We had ours fitted to our whole electricity supply as we had a large villa with 5 air-cons. But you can just fit it to the one air conditioning unit if preferred.

We had one supplied and fitted for 150 Euros earlier this year by Tony 685 361 794. He also supplies the cards for them.
