Is the Yellow Rose of Texas open? Every time I pass it looks closed

It reopens sometime in February

Now please don't shoot the messenger but I have heard today on 2 separate occasions that it is shut for a year. Maybe someone can confirm either way.

Have they got a website that you can check for relevant info, and not just gossip?

They close for three months every winter, I'm not certain, but I think they re-open late February. As for them closing for a year I haven't heard that myself but MrsP may well be correct.

The Yellow Rose of Texas is closed for twelve months due to the owners illness and a kitchen makeover the staff were told of the decision and the team have now sort new employment .Best wishes to the owner let's hope he gets well and can reopen in due course

I had heard the owner was ill. Wishing him all the very best and hope he makes a speedy recovery and also best wishes to all of his staff.
