We had several sets of keys cut when we bought our apartment and had problems with the ones for the security grills from both Jacqueline's and also at home in the UK, despite them both trying twice. The door and gate keys were fine.

In the end we got them done at Carrefour in Habaneras. Apparently they arent common profiles. Now if we need any keys we go there.

Ferreteria shop on the Quesada High Street next to Chino shop...

They seem to have all the old style locks and keys from when the homes where built from 2004

Lucky for me, they had everything as I had to drill all my locks out ..I forgot to bring my house keys when I left UK

The ferreteria Dona pepa, near the gama supermarket cuts keys. It's just past the Chinese restaurant which is now closed and by the polish supermarket., I find them very helpful they also sell quality goods, better than the Chinese supermarkets .
