Iberia air

anyone flown this airline long haul?

hi any one flown with Iberia long haul ?

We've flown Madrid to Costa Rica with Iberia, it was ok, did you have any specific questions?

I flew London to South Africa via Madrid about 10 years ago. Interestingly I received an e-mail from them earlier this week saying “we’ve missed you”!

We flew with them fro Madrid to Valparaiso a couple of years ago, paid for extra leg room seats, when we boarded the plane they seat rows I had booked where not extra leg room, as they had changed the type of plane, so 4 of us where in economy seats, for a 13 hour flight, and the 2 men were 6 foot, so not a comfortable flight. When I complained the answer I got was 'you had a seat for your flight' , I asked for a refund for the extra amount I had paid but got nowhere with them, I vowed never to fly with Iberia again.

We flew madrid to south africa 12 months ago. The plane was very cramped. Less leg room than on ryanair. . Most uncomfortable journey we have ever made. We werent as savvy as other travellers , that managed to secure full bed length seats in the middle isles, and werent asked to take original seats even for take off. Most of the middle isle seats were taken by school children , 1 child per row. Wouldnt ever fly with this airline again.
