car battery

Hi can someone please help. Husbands in spain (dona pepa) car wouldnt start when he collected it yesterday. Managed to get it started, went for food on way back from airport, car wouldnt start again.... Need a new battery (no tools in spain yet to fit it) where can he buy one and possibly have it fitted.. if not where can he buy one and the tools needed to fit it.. pretty desperate at the moment, any hope would be really appreciated. There’s a couple of garages that might do battery’s at the arches they also will probably fit it aswell if not let me know I’ve got tools to fit it

If you ring your insurance breakdown service they will bring a battery and fit it no problem

Spoke to husband and he's looked and says it looks like be a right paint o fit it. So ideally wants somewhere he can just take it too to buy it and have it fitted by them.. dont spain have any places like kiwi fit ? TIA Lesley.

Thank you, I have passed that on to my husband.
Update, he rang them and they said they dont sell batteries but will jumpstart him when he needs it... disappointing. But was worth a ask.

not sure,,, but i think the garage in the car park at carrefore is open,,,, and if he needs tools, my husband will most likely have all he needs

or

he can buy a battery at the petrol garage just before lemon tree market, off the shelf any ready to go.

Nearest to Kwik Fit would be Feu Vert. There is one next to carre four in Elche. They sell and fit batteries from 50 euros. Also do brakes tyres etc...
