This maybe too costly, but I bought one of them almost 3 years ago from Amazon Spain and its excellent.

I don't remember ever seeing a CD/Radio. A couple of things. In the UK I have a Naim legacy Hifi system in a listening room and in the living room I have just dismantled a cinema amp, and replaced it with Sonos, as my wife likes to have things 'tidy'. Just mentioning this to show I am fairly discerning as far as music is concerned, but have gone full circle.
So here is a couple of ideas from me which I am using in the Spanish house:
1) to listen to radio, consider buying a soundbar with matching sub woofer. I got an LG one from Carrefour for 99 Euros. Of course, you can pay a lot more, but the advantage of the sound bar is it should have Bluetooth so you can play the radio through the sound bar via an app on your smartphone. Maybe you have Spotify, our something similar?
2) I think I am right in saying you can play CD's through a BluRay or DVD player. If so, you can just link it to the TV and pass it through to the sound bar.
This would be a very cheap option.
Of course, if you have a very discerning ear and want a Hifi quality CD player, then you might have to play over £400 as a starting point.
