SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS

SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS

Postby hoppy1 » Sat Mar 31, 2018 6:27 pm

Does anyone know a really good Seafood Restaurant around Torrevieja,
Guardamar, la Zenia, etc, etc, preferably with a Sea View, that serves
Fruits de Mer. I have asked The Lobster Restaurant in Playa Flamenca
& they don’t! Seems difficult to locate one, which is incredible as we live
so close to the Sea, when we could get this dish in the middle of England
as far from the Sea as possible!

You could try Rodero in Guardamar situated alongside the beach.

We went there a few Christmas's ago and the amount of seafood being served was mahoosive and looked delicious.

And the puddings looked out of this world so much you didn't want to eat them!

We only went in there for a drink but we were given little plates of fresh fish and chips for free... fantastic

Staff were really friendly and service great.

Good Luck

Restaurante Barlovento on Calle del Cabo on the way into Torrevieja from La Mata. Outdoor seating overlooking the sea
They do a cold tray as a starter which is excellent.
Barlovento

Marisqueria on Ramon Galud in Torrevieja. Not on the seafront but an excellent menu.
Marisqueria

Quite a few in Guardamar near the beach but I haven't tried any of those so can't comment.

You could have a look at The Nautilus in Punta Prima.

It's right at the edge of the sea, it's got a lovely atmosphere and has always been very busy whenever we've been there.

Valenti on the beach. Turn down towards the sea, opposite the church and Valenti is at the bottom of the road.

Several eateries on Guardamar central promenade do 'parrillada de mariscos' - normally about €25 for two to share e.g. Europa and Isla Tabarca

I would also recommend Barlovento. You can eat inside in the very ornate restaurant, or outside under the thatched roof. Compared to most restaurants in the area it is expensive, so we only use it occasionally.

Restaurante Los Angeles / Club Náutico Campoamor is very good with beautiful views overlooking the sea and excellent service.

Many thanks for all your replies, very helpful.
Had a pudding at Barlovento today - very impressed
but as you say, quite expensive but great menu.
